Today we started out with two LEGO Serious Play Building challenges:
1) Build a model of your organism in your ecosystem, or its habitat.
2) Build a model of a robot that helps make your life easier.
Next, we split up into our groups to continue discussing Ecosystems and Robotics.
The Ecosystems group made their own plaster ecosystems, and then played Biotic/Abiotic tag. The Robotics group worked with LEGO WeDo Robotics and built their own inventions and creations either using only their minds, or with instructions. Scratch was then introduced as a way to create a story or a game. The students then wrote our their storyboards based on their robotics builds to make sure their robots had characteristics and a mission.
