Innovation & Robotics League Meets Sundays 11-2pm

MONTHLY, Ages 10-14 Robotics, Computer Programming, Rockets Tsawwassen Arts Centre Sundays, Sept 22, Oct 20, Nov 17, Dec 15, Jan 26, Feb 23, Mar 30 11am-2pm  Fee: $75 ($525 for the year)   Create teams!  Collaboratively build WeDo & NXT LEGO robotics, rockets & learn computer programming (MIT's Scratch and others) while exploring 21st Century themes. Features artistic (story/movie making, improv, game programs) & kinesthetic activities (function of class composition) while they bring their robotic and rocket characters to life. Pro-D Days Fridays (full days 9:00 am - 3:00 pm) Sept. 20, Oct. 25, Nov. 22, Ages 6-12 LEGO+Arts Innovators Tsawwassen Arts Centre  Fee: $65, 9:00 am - 3:00 pm   Design, Play & Create: Bricks, Machines & Rockets Have fun & innovate using LEGO bricks, simple machines, serious play models & NASA rockets that come to life through story-making, drama & games. Solve engineering & other 21st Century challenges through imaginative building & actively using multiple intelligences.   After School Innovation  New Richmond Location Thursdays, Weekly, Gr. 3-7 Non-Registered RJDS Students Invited to Sign UP Innovators: LEGO & NASA Sci Tech + Arts LOCATION: Richmond Jewish Day School, 8760 No 5 Rd, Richmond Thursdays 3:45pm - 5pm (Oct 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Nov 7, 21, Dec 5, 12, 19) Fee: $250 (RDJS students receive 10% off - coupon code at the RJDS Office)    DIGIVATIONS is designed to enable students to learn, collaborate & have fun with 21st Century themes creating, designing, & exploring with a diverse array of hands-on materials. Discuss current & historical events & the minds who bring science, technology, design & the arts to life. Themes explored include: alternative energy, design, engineering, extreme eco-systems, commercial space, transportation & sustainability. Engage in creative activities, computer programming using DIGIVATIONS and student computers, games & building with LEGO, machines, roller coasters, rockets, & NASA materials.
